# Videos

This page contains a few videos (and pdf files, though these are more or less an endangered species now as I don’t really make them anymore) that I have produced which are designed to help maths students with their studies. These videos are all my own original work and are free – if you find them useful then please feel free to share them. The videos happen when I feel like/get round to doing them and they are in no particular order; if, however, there is a maths topic that you really want to see a video on (otherwise you’ll simply explode because you just can’t wait) then please do let me know and IF I can make a video on it then (time permitting) I will…just for you.

TIPS AND ADVICE VIDEOS

These videos are a bit longer than some of my tutorial videos but if you can put up with my ugly mug for quarter of an hour or half an hour then there might be something there that can really help you boost your chances of getting the grades that you want or need in your GCSE maths, A Level Maths or QTS Numeracy.

GCSE AND A-LEVEL MATHS MISTAKES

To be a good mathematician it’s just as important to be able recognise bad maths as it is to recognise good maths. Here are some of the maths mistakes that I regularly and most frequently come across as a maths tutor. It isn’t shameful or embarassing to make mistakes – you can learn a lot from your mistakes – maybe you don’t realise that what you’re doing is wrong; well watch these videos and see if you’re making any of the mistakes – if you are then you know that you need to do something about it.
